Dr. David Turer is in his last year of plastic surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He then went on to earn a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan. He attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati and then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Michigan. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Turer’s main research interest is in improving patient safety and outcomes with the use of advanced technology, particularly within the field of aesthetics.
